Russian - Minor

Studying Russian at USU will be more than just speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students also take literature courses where they can better understand the human condition, and culture courses where students will learn the traditions and perspectives of Russian-speaking communities.

Russian Minor Requirements (12 credits)


  • Total Credits: 12
  • Grade Point Average to Declare Russian Minor: 2.5 Overall GPA
  • Grade Point Average to Graduate with Russian Minor: 2.5 GPA within major coursework and 2.0 Overall GPA
  • USU Credit Requirement: At least half (50 percent) of the credits earned for this minor must be earned at USU.
  • Minimum Grade Requirement: All courses taken for the Russian minor require a minimum grade of C- or better. Courses for the minor may not be taken on a pass/fail basis.
