School Psychology, NASP-approved
The School Psychology Ed.S. program trains practitioners with expertise in promoting the academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health of youth in school settings. Training involves assessment and intervention across multiple levels, including direct services with youth, consultation-based services with parents and teachers, and systems-level services with educational administrators and multidisciplinary teams. The program is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists and the Utah State Board of Education for licensure of school psychologists. Students will earn their M.Ed. in route to their Ed.S. degree. Program graduates will be prepared to practice in K–12 education settings as school psychologists.
